Baraboo News Republic talks firefighting training partnership

Madison College is teaming up with the Baraboo Fire Department to offer a new firefighting training course next year at Baraboo High School. The training, which was recently showcased in the Baraboo News Republic, prepares students for state firefighter certification exams.

People Magazine features Madison College grad

People Magazine interviewed former Madison College grad and Bachelorette contestant Peter Kraus, who revealed he had an eating disorder during his years as a model.

Kraus says he needed to find a healthier way to achieve the look he wanted and that led to his enrollment in the college’s dietetics program.

Vice President Mark Thomas was interviewed for a front page story in Thursday’s Wisconsin State Journal about Drury Southwest possibly taking over all of the renovation at the college’s Downtown Campus. Hovde Properties pulled out of the partnership project last month.
