Channel 3, Channel 15 and Spectrum TV News stopped by the Truax culinary kitchens Thursday, August 8, for a news conference about the college’s partnership with the REAP Food Group to wash, cut and package produce that will be delivered to the Madison Metropolitan School District and UW Health.

More media coverage for the metal fabrication camp going on at the Fort Atkinson campus. For the past two weeks, middle school-aged students have been welding, cutting and forming metal. Campus Manager Maria McClellan and instructor Roger Bratberg were interviewed by the Waterloo/Marshall Courier about the importance of the camp, which was also recently featured in the Daily Jefferson County Union.

Construction and Remodeling instructor Sandy Thistle recently did an interview with TVW about the new CampBUILD, which runs Aug. 5-16 at Madison College. The camp is designed to get more girls interested in the building trades.
