Channel 15 covers Fountain Prairie Farm open house

Channel 15 stopped by the open house Thursday at Fountain Prairie Farm, the college’s leased farmland in Fall River. Culinary arts, sustainable agriculture, veterinary technician and botany students are gaining outdoor, hands-on training at the farm. The story aired during the 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts.

Channels 3, 15, 47 cover Food Resource Fair

Channel 3 covered the Food Security Resource Fair at Truax Campus. A recent Student Senate survey found more than one-third of Madison College students skip a meal because they can’t afford it. The fair offered free food and resources. Channel 15 and Channel 47 also reported on the event.

According to a Madison College instructor, quite a lot.  Josh Pultorak’s research at UW-Madison — which is being shared in journals and publications throughout the country — shows mice can weather the storm if they calmly “talk” about the cheating.
