Automotive Tech alum featured in the Waunakee Tribune

David Weishoff has put his passion for cars in the forefront of his career goals. In August 2015, he purchased the former Meffert Oil Company’s auto service and turned it into David’s Certified Auto Repair (DCAR).

The Waunakee Tribune published a feature article about the alum and his business.

Instructor to discuss gardening in memory-care setting

The Janesville Gazette reported Darcie Olson, an instructor in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, will speak at a therapeutic horticulture seminar at Rotary Gardens in Janesville on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

Olson will give tips for caretakers who are working with their loved ones at home.

District board chair highlighted in numerous publications

Madison College District Board Chair Joe Hasler is featured in the Baraboo News Republic as well at the Wisconsin Dells Events. Hasler, who has served on the board since 2013, was elected chair earlier this month.

WTCS President discusses electronic manufacturing training

When news hit that one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers was opening a facility in Wisconsin – some wondered who would train the company’s estimated 3,000 workers. The answer is Wisconsin’s technical colleges. Channel 3 talked to WTCS President Morna Foy about the training. Most of the file video in the story is from Madison College.
