Lee, Jr., founder/director of Colloqate Design, a nonprofit multidisciplinary design practice dedicated to expanding community access to design and creating spaces of racial, cultural and social equity.

The article, written by student Nicholas Garton, quotes Sandy Thistle, Construction instructor, and Michael Ford, Architectural Technology instructor.

Cap Times reports South Campus plans

Channel 27 covers Architecture Lecture Series

In Madison and throughout the country, there’s a push to remove monuments that symbolize racism. But what will replace them? Bryan Lee, a New Orleans-based designer and activist who has put together a project called Paper Monuments, spoke about that subject today at the Truax Campus as part of the Architecture Lecture Series. Channel 27 covered the event.

Former instructor provides sketches for trial

If you’ve been watching news coverage of the Joseph Jakubowski trial on TV, you’ve probably noticed that cameras are not allowed in the federal courtroom.

Instead, a sketch artist is helping to describe the details of the trial. That sketch artist is retired Madison College instructor Jim McKiernan. You can see his work on Channel 3Channel 15 and Channel 27.
