Nonprofit media covers Rubin For Kids awards

Madison365 just posted a story about this year’s “Rubin For Kids” scholarship winners. A record-number 39 students received scholarships this year. The students will attend Madison College’s new Goodman South Campus this fall. The scholarship was started in 1995 to honor the legacy of juvenile justice advocate Peter Rubin. President Daniels is quoted in the story.

President Daniels was interviewed for a front-page article in the Wisconsin State Journal that took a closer look at the history of the Downtown Campus as it prepares to close after 98 years of service. Also interviewed were Tina Ahedo, dean of metro campuses, and instructor Emily Pink.
