Magazine highlights Ford's Hip Hop Architecture Camps

Architectural Technology instructor Michael Ford conducted his Hip Hop Architecture Camps throughout the country this summer. His work was recently featured in Good Magazine. Ford is also in the process of designing disaster relief homes for those hit hard by Hurricane Harvey in Houston.

News outlets highlight South Campus Initiative

The college’s South Campus Initiative has received a lot of news coverage. President Daniels is doing a studio interview with WIBA which will air Sunday, Sept. 3, morning on four iHeartRadio stations. Meanwhile, Channel 3’s Neil Heinen had good things to say about the announcement in his editorial last night. Channel 27 also ran a story about the South Campus project. Other media covering the event included the Wisconsin State Journal (front page in Tuesday’s paper), Cap Times, Capital City Hues, Madison365, Clarion and Channels 3 and 15.

Noll informs about Hurricane Harvey donation sites

The sheer volume of water from Hurricane Harvey, now a tropical storm, will take days, if not weeks, to drain through rivers in Texas and Louisiana. Many of us are wondering how we can help the hundreds of thousands of people who have been evacuated from the state.

Social Media/Marketing instructor Steve Noll says before you give, take a minute to make sure you’re not making a donation to a bogus charitable site. He shared tips on Channel 3. The story also aired on Fox 47.

History instructor Dr. Maurice Sheppard is doing a live studio interview with Wisconsin Public Radio from 7-8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. Dr. Sheppard will be talking about the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates and the other top political news of the day.
