Meeting and Event Management Program Director Janet Sperstad recently did a video for the U.S. Department of Labor. It focuses on using the competency model clearinghouse to develop curriculum to create relevant education and training programs to meet the demands of the current workforce.

Animal Care Supervisor Melissa Hayden recently introduced folks to the “Pet of the Week” on Channel 15. She’s a Blue Lacy named “Sophia” who’s looking for a forever home. You can learn more about Sophia on the college’s pet adoption web page.

Madison College District Board Chair Joe Hasler is featured in the Reedsburg Times-Press and Wisconsin Dells EventsHasler talks about the honor of being elected chairman and the virtues of a technical degree. Dr. Daniels was also interviewed for the story. He says Hasler’s “insight and advocacy” helped the college meet its goals.
