Madison College speaker featured in Capital City Hues

Madison College’s Native American Heritage Month guest speaker Gyasi Ross, was featured in the Monday, Nov. 26, issue of the Capital City Hues. Ross recently spoke at Truax’s Intercultural Exchange. Also appearing in photos from this issue are Vice President Lucia Nunez, Jimmy Cheffen, Katie Ackley and Rhoda McKinney.

Spectrum News comes to Madison

The Madison area has a new TV news channel. It’s called Spectrum News. Madison College recently did two stories with the cable network. Marketing/social media instructor Steve Noll talked about the future of bitcoins after Ohio became the first state to allow taxes to be paid with the cryptocurrency – and psychology instructor Jenna Behm-Lawton discussed ways to beat the holiday blues. Both stories are expected to air on the cable network soon.

Instructor appears in Community College Daily

Chemistry and Engineering Instructor Dr. Ken Walz, is mentioned in the latest posting of Community College Daily. Dr. Walz is helping to develop an introductory course on agricultural technology at Riverland Community College, in Minnesota. He is also the principal investigator of the Center for Renewable Energy Advanced Technological Education.
