It’s back to school time – but leave the hoverboard at home.

The College Board will vote on Dr. Daniels' recommendation Wednesday, May 4.

The legendary musician and artist, David Bowie, died on Sunday, Jan. 10. He was 69 years old.

Channel 3 airs editorial on "Madison Promise"

Channel 3’s editorial director is giving the “thumbs up” to President Daniels for the college’s initiative to help low-income students with tuition.

Math instructor's Powerball odds report getting media attention

Math instructor Paul Peeder’s Powerball odds story is getting a lot of media attention. The report, which was featured on Channel 27, also aired on TV stations in Milwaukee and Wausau.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated to be a record $800 million.

They were this year’s hot Christmas gift, but should hoverboards be allowed on college campuses? A growing number of institutions are banning the devices due to fire concerns.

On Thursday, Jan. 7, the Wisconsin State Journal ran a front page article about the free tuition program. The Wisconsin State Journal talked to President Daniels, Senior Vice President Keith Cornille and Foundation CEO Tammy Thayer about the "Madison Promise".

On Wednesday, Jan. 6, the "Madison Promise" initiative was Channel 3’s and Fox 47’s top news story.

The "Madison Promise", a privately funded program at Madison College, will assist low-income high school students with tuition and fees.
