Wisconsin Public Radio interviews Miranda Hawk and Jon Pollack

On Wednesday, March 2, Wisconsin Public Radio had a live interview with Miranda Hawk and Jon Pollack about the play Clybourne Park, which opens Friday, March 4, at Madison College.

Hawk hopes the play will spark conversation about race and inequality in Wisconsin.

Culinary arts instructor featured in Capital Times

Madison College culinary instructor Joe Gaglio is featured in today’s Capital Times for a story about a “Kosher Chopped” competition that will be held at the Adamah Neighborhood Table on Monday, March 7.

Paul Short, culinary arts program director, is helping to judge the event.

Wisconsin State Journal features Madison College Women's Basketball

On Tuesday, March 1, the Madison College Women’s Basketball Team narrowly lost the chance to advance to the NJCAA Division III National Championship. The team lost against Mid Michigan Community College, with a final score of 78-91.

The team was recently featured in the Wisconsin State Journal.

Wisconsin State Journal writing police training article

The anniversary of Tony Robinson’s death is fast approaching.

The Wisconsin State Journal is doing a special story on police training in conjunction with the anniversary. Brian Landers, criminal justice chair, was interviewed for the article and talked about the college’s law enforcement academy.

The story is expected to run in the paper sometime this week.

The Isthmus posted an article today on the WolfPack Women’s basketball team’s chances at winning another national championship.

Coach Jessica Pelzel was interviewed for the story. The WolfPack begin NJCAA Region IV Tournament play Sunday, Feb. 28, in Milwaukee.
