Girls, age 11-14, with an interest in science, technology, engineering or math are invited to attend a three-day Girls Only (GO) STEM camp at Madison College.
Participants will learn about environmental and food science in a farm setting. They'll work cooperatively to build a bridge; and build their confidence. They will explore the basics of 3D printing by designing and making cool stuff, from jewelry to Pokémon. This is a great opportunity to discover STEM careers that will make an impact on the future.
Camp sessions run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Lunch is included. Cost is $75 per session. All camps meet at Madison College Truax Campus, 1701 Wright Street. Some camps will have off-site fieldtrips.
