Textbook rental program will cut costs for students

Beginning this summer, degree credit and developing education students will be able to rent textbooks from Madison College. A $7 per credit fee will be added to their tuition bill to cover the cost of textbooks.

The goal of the rental program is to remove the financial barrier of high cost books. The rental also aims to provide access to texts on the first day of class, contributing to student success. The program will provide most core textbooks at no additional charge. Exceptions will be one-time use items such as workbooks, lab manuals, most access codes and books under $20. These items will need to be purchased in addition to the rental fee.

More information on textbook rental can be found on the Textbook Rental webpage.
