Students enrolling in Madison College's Liberal Arts Transfer program can now choose from six areas of emphasis or pre-majors. The LAT program serves students who wish to earn an associate in arts (AA) or associate in science (AS) degree and/or who intend to transfer to a four-year university. The program provides students with an excellent foundation for continuing in higher education and there are agreements and pathways with many four-year institutions across the region.
Pre-majors let students choose a curriculum tailored to support their future transfer goals. The following pre-majors provide a guided pathway with enough flexibility for broad major exploration regardless of transfer destination.
- Arts and Humanities
- Economics and Pre-Business
- Pre-Professional Health
- Science, Math and Technology
By completing the AA or AS degree at Madison College, students will typically satisfy the first two years of general education requirements for four-year colleges and universities and obtain an educational foundation in a breadth of disciplines.
The first step is to apply for admission to Madison College.
