Many scholarships are available for new students through the Madison College Foundation. Scholarships are funds awarded to cover college expenses. These do not have to be repaid by the student. New Madison College students can apply for scholarships between March 19 through April 27.
To apply, students must complete the Madison College Admissions Application and be accepted into a program. Applicants must have a 2.0 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in six or more credits for the upcoming semester. In addition, the Foundation requires a college or high school transcript and a letter of recommendation.
More than 1,000 scholarships are available to Madison College students. Thanks to donations from alumni, faculty, staff and friends, the Foundation has provided more than $17 million in scholarship and financial assistance to more than 40,000 students.
