Learn about social entrepreneurship at free workshop

Do you have an interest in opening a for-profit or nonprofit organization aimed at addressing a social, cultural and/or environmental issues? 


As part of the Business Planning series, the Center for Entrepreneurship is hosting a highly interactive workshop that will introduce you to the expanding and evolving field of social entrepreneurship.


The topics that will be highlighted:

  • Explore the meaning of social entrepreneurship
  • Examine businesses that are doing well and making a difference at the same time
  • Brainstorm potential social enterprise ideas of your own.


This workshop will be held Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 6-8 p.m. at the Madison College Truax Campus, room D1630C.


Registration is required as space is limited.


The Business Planning Series is free to Madison College students and to the general public unless otherwise noted. Entrepreneurs from communities surrounding Madison are encouraged to attend.
