Mental strength training offered

This fall, we are pleased to offer two new 30-minute drop-in sessions for employees and students to learn fast, easy, practical techniques to focus the mind, relieve anxiety, bounce back after stressful situations and feel strong and calm under pressure. Each session will include gentle stretching followed by mental strength training exercises for relaxation. 

Mondays from 12-12:30 p.m.
Wednesdays from 12-12:30 p.m.
Location: Health Education Building, Room 131

We are currently evaluating ways to broadcast or record these sessions for groups at other campuses.

In addition to mental strength training sessions, we are offering two other ways to practice these techniques: 

Free Alignment Yoga Classes

These drop-in classes are free and open to the first 25 people. This is a gentle, beginner yoga class that focuse on joint stability, safe range of motion and deep relaxation. 

Tuesdays from 4:45-5:45 p.m. (60-minute class)
Fridays from 12:15-12:45 p.m. (30-minute class)
