Sign up for the Resiliency through Mindfulness class, occurring every Wednesday from 5:30-8 p.m. This class will take place in the Truax Health Building beginning Feb. 1 and ending March 29 (the room number will be provided after registering).
Mindfulness can expand your practice exponentially through cultivating mindful presence, unconditional kindness, acceptance, patience and curiosity we can become more effective, resilient and effective professionals. These techniques are based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s research on decreasing physical and emotional chronic pain, as well as Kristin Neff’s research on Mindful Self-Compassion.
