Simulation clients sought for Wellness course

Adrian Shepard, faculty member in the Recreation Management program, is seeking Madison College employees to serve as simulation clients for students in the Wellness Coaching and Promotion course this fall.

Each volunteer will be paired up with one student from the course. The student will then serve as a wellness coach for the volunteer (simulation client) and practice the skills they have learned and are learning through the semester.

There is no fee associated with this experience. However, volunteers must be willing to commit for the remainder of the semester, be available to serve as clients for the coaches and be motivated. This experience begins the week of October 10 and ends December 4.

The first 24 people to respond will be matched up with a student. A waiting list will be created in the event that someone changes their mind.

For more information, or to sign up, please contact Adrian Shepard at (608) 616-3566.
