President shares Thanksgiving message

To Madison College Faculty, Staff and Students ~

Thanksgiving is celebrated once a year – the 4th Thursday in November. Yet, celebrations of giving happen year round. Acts of graciousness, kindness, respectfulness – happen daily.

I am extremely grateful and appreciative of our awesome faculty and staff and their commitment to students and their success. It is evidenced in our classrooms and the services we offer. Commitment to our mission, vision and values is the cornerstone in how we engage each other and the communities we serve.

The varied conversations of our students reflect their appreciation of the work we do to prepare them for careers and/or the next step in their educational journey.

I am thankful that I work in a college that puts the success of students above everything else.

As you reflect on your giving, I ask that you consider helping one less fortunate, one whose vision has been interrupted by life circumstances or one who needs encouragement to reorder their steps to meet their goal.

Happy Thanksgiving!
