President announces Combined Charitable Campaign goal

Dear Colleagues,

Autumn is a season of change—beyond the fall colors we enjoy here in Wisconsin. As a new school year unfolds and temperatures drop, change is imminent and constant. I urge you to consider how you can be part of meaningful changes right here in our community.

Together, during the 2018 Combined Charitable Campaign, we raised nearly $52,000 for a variety of charities through the following non-profit organizations:

  • United Way of Dane County
  • Madison College Foundation
  • Community Health Charities
  • Community Shares of Wisconsin

This year, let’s increase participation and raise the bar even higher. By working together we can achieve our goals of 100% participation and $76,000 raised. It is our mission, after all, to serve our community.

The 2019 Madison College Combined Charitable Campaign runs from October 28-December 20. No contribution is too small: “Give a little, help a lot!”

Choose from four organizations listed on the attached document and donate via the pledge site (the site will be available starting October 28th) by choosing payroll deduction or credit card. See the pledge site for details.

If you wish to give to our students, please select the Foundation as your designation via the pledge site. The focus of these donations will be the Scholars of Promise fund.

Watch your inbox for Matters updates on CCC events and opportunities to give. I encourage you to participate in events that are fast becoming Madison College traditions. These include our Give Thanks day, an online auction, and a variety of other opportunities throughout the campaign.

Join me in bringing positive change to our community. Let us prove again that Madison College cares.
