Prepare for College Community Days

College Community Days are almost upon us. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, Aug. 27, and Wednesday, Aug. 28. As you prepare to attend the event, there are some important updates.

Updated Session Descriptions and Schedule

An updated event schedule with more information about breakout sessions is now available on the College Community Days SharePoint site.

Streaming and remote access links available

If you are unable to join us in the Mitby Theater on Aug. 27, you will be able to watch the opening session and Dr. Turina Bakken’s address, 360 Degrees of Academic Excellence, from a remote location. Links for live streaming are now available on the College Community Days site.

The following breakout sessions will also be available remotely via WebEx (links now available on the College Community Days site):

  • The 60 Year Curriculum, 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
  • Classroom Live!  10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

Food and Reconnections – Breakfast on Tuesday

Make sure to join your colleagues and reconnect while enjoying coffee and light breakfast items on Tuesday morning from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m.

Community Service Day

Thank you to those of you who have signed up to volunteer on Aug. 28.  If you haven’t already done so, please sign up following the link on the College Community Days site. There are still plenty of great opportunities to serve our community.
