The WTCS Tech Expo Program Committee would like you to consider presenting
at the upcoming WTCS Tech Expo.
The 2016 Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Tech Expo call for proposals is now open and the deadline for submitting is Tuesday, March 1. Presenters of accepted proposals will attend Tech Expo for free.
The Expo is Friday, April 8, at Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) in Appleton, Wisconsin.
The WTCS Tech Expo is focused on exploring the future and expanding boundaries of technology use in postsecondary education. Tech Expo is devoted to enhancing learning through the use of current and emerging technology.
The keynote speaker for this year’s expo is Dr. James May, the Faculty Fellow for Innovation and Technology at Valencia College in Orlando, FL where he also teaches English as a Second Language with a special emphasis on Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). May enjoys pushing boundaries and engaging both faculty and students through various technologies and innovative digital and communication strategies.
May also consults and presents nationally on a wide variety of ever-changing technologies and digital innovations related to Computer Assisted Language Learning, the iPad, Web 2.0, Social Media, Millennial Shift, Video-on-Demand, Cellphones in the Classroom, Digitally Transactive Learning, and more.
