Conquer the end of the semester with CETL

In preparation for the end of the semester, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is hosting “Faculty Survival Week” Monday through Friday, Dec. 9-13, in the CETL office, Truax B2208.

Faculty are encouraged to stop into the CETL office between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day for coffee/tea, snacks, support and fun. There will be door prize drawings all week and even the opportunity to decompress and play some games using Virtual Reality.

The CETL team will be ready to assist you on these quests:

  • Conquering your Blackboard grade center.
  • Creating a course feedback survey.
  • Accessing faculty center to prepare to post final grades.
  • Navigating Blackboard course copy to prepare for spring semester.

CETL team members will also be at the Goodman South Campus for Faculty Survival Day Monday, Dec. 16 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (Room TBA)

In addition, Lesley Voigt, the Madison College digital credentials institute administrator, will be in CETL Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 1-2 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 12, from 11 a.m. to Noon to assist faculty in issuing badges for Core Workforce Skills. She will be available to guide you step-by-step in how to assess students and award badges to students in your courses now and in the future.

No preregistration is required for Faculty Survival Week activities, just visit CETL for some treats, support and fun.
