Recognize a Shared Governance member

The Terry S. Webb Shared Governance Leadership Award recognizes college employees and students who consistently model the principles of Shared Governance: transparency, collective responsibility, inclusiveness, collegiality and more. The award is named for Provost Emeritus Terry S. Webb, whose leadership was instrumental in establishing a culture dedicated to shared governance principles at Madison College. 

To be eligible for nomination, a student or college employee must:

  • Be currently serving on a Shared Governance body or have served in the immediate past term.
  • The award is open to any student or employee that meets the above criteria

When submitting a nomination, include:

  • Assembly or Council position held along with dates of service
  • Three specific examples of how the nominee demonstrates excellence in the Shared Governance principles
  • A summary of the nominee's contributions
  • Limit submissions to 500 words

Two employees and two students are awarded for their service to Shared Governance. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, March 29
