South Campus to host Juneteenth Poetry Slam

Madison College will host its first Juneteenth Poetry Slam in the South Campus Atrium Friday, June 15 at 6 p.m.

Guest poets will include S. Mojdeh Stoakley, director of the National Poetry Slam, and Madison poet Fabu. They will judge entries.

The theme of the poetry slam is "The Resilience of a People." The event is open to all ages.

Prizes will be awarded, including $250 for first place, $150 for second place and $100 for third place.
