Foundation announces Grow South Madison fundraising updates

Madison College was challenged to raise $3.5 million before March 30, 2018, to complete our South Campus Match, which includes construction of a new Madison College South Campus. If we do, Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation and Affiliates will match that number dollar for dollar.

We are pleased to announce these major gifts received over the recent weeks:

The Rennebohm Foundation donation—$250,000 to the South Campus. The Rennebohm Foundation has a long history of supporting the College and STEM education.

The Housing Ministries of American Baptists in Wisconsin (HMABW) donation—$25,000. HMABW supports underrepresented communities throughout Madison.

Johnson Bank donation—$5,000 to the South Campus Match. Johnson Bank is dedicated to making a difference in the Madison area.

We are thankful to all Madison College faculty and staff who have donated or pledged more than $18,000 in contributions toward the South Campus Match.

Raising $3.5 million is a mighty challenge. But it’s not unrealistic by any stretch. Madison College’s new South Campus must get done. It needs to be done. And, thanks to your support and that of your colleagues and the community-at-large, it will get done, because it means so much for so many people.
