WolfPack recognized for 2019 successes

The WolfPack baseball team captured considerable 2019 post season awards. The team reclaimed the North Central Community College Conference (N4C) crown, successfully defended their Region IV title and made a third place finish nationally.

Sophomores Adam LaRock and Nick Gile took the season's top honors. LaRock was named the N4C Most Valuable Player. Gile earned Region IV Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

First year pitcher Eliot Turnquist was the only player named first team all-conference and first team all-region, while Gile was a second team all-conference pick. Freshman Patrick Foldy received first team all-region and second team all-conference.

Sophomores Matt Hamilton and Nathan Aide were first team all-region selections and fellow second year Walker Jenkins garnered second team honors.

Head Coach Mike Davenport was named conference and region coach of the year.
