National Society of Leadership and Success honors employees

On Tuesday, April 16, the Madison College Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) inducted 26 students and recognized the incredible dedication of five Madison College employees. All of the staff recognized were nominated for these awards by student members of NSLS.    

The Excellence in Teaching Award was given to the following faculty members because they teach with passion, inspire students beyond the classroom and demonstrate a dedication to student development:

  •  Jeynell Boeck, Health Related Professions
  •  Tiffany Esser, Interior Design
  •  Emili Spencer, Interior Design

The Excellence in Service Award was given to Teresa Amara, Student Support advisor, because she exemplifies leadership through service and has demonstrated a true commitment to bettering the lives of students.    

The Honorary Membership Award was given to Thomas Tubon, instructor in Biotechnology, because he embodies the mission of the society and demonstrates leadership qualities in a personal and professional capacity. He also served as the keynote speaker at the Induction Ceremony.
